When I Touch My Naval It Hurts

Copper

I love this metal, I like to see it hanging on the walls of my kitchen has an antique flavor, heat, of ...... family.
but I do not like having to clean ...... darkens over time, it becomes brown and almost opaque. Star them with those smelly chemicals that giving new luster, damaged hands and coughing constantly. But I love all things made with this material and I have several pots scattered on the furniture in the kitchen. They are very old pieces, which come from my husband's family and have seen the capable hands of his grandfather work the metal and make everyday objects that are small masterpieces.
Yesterday was one of those days that are called ..... it is time to clean the copper pots ...... I look under the furniture and detergent acc ...... I do not have specific detergent .... and now ??????

I thought a bit and then I remembered having read somewhere that you can clean copper with salt and vinegar. A bit skeptical, and with the conviction that they must be there to rub for a long time I made a bowl with salt and a solution of equal parts white vinegar. I inzoppato a sponge, I spent at the bottom of a pan e. ..... waooooooo in a few seconds, the copper has begun to shine, without having to rub a lot and gave back to a copper color and brilliant live ......
course that the remedies of our grandmothers are very useful, effective and above all ...... ecological
